The Perfect Nashville Weekend

I have been to this city a couple times now and here are my top spots that I would visit a million times over and a couple classic spots I have yet to visit. I spent a lot of time thinking about a perfect Nashville weekend trip! If I only had a couple days in this city, here is what I would do:
Disclaimer: be prepared for little sleep!
Music Row and The Gulch
1. Getting right into it with the first place to visit is the Graduate Hotel in Nashville!
You don't even have to stay there, you can get brunch or drinks! All I am going to suggest is: Book. A. Reservation. In. Advance. It is totally worth it. My friend and I enjoyed the rooftop bar and lounge for one of the cutest and photo worthy spots in the city. We got really pretty cocktails and the bartenders were really friendly!

2. The Gulch area shops and mural!
Only a 20 minute walk (5 minute drive) from the Graduate, check out the adorable boutiques at the Gulch. Also, as a first time Nashville tourist, it is a must that you take a classic picture in front of the famous angel wings mural, which is right along the strip of the shops! If you go at the right time of day, there will be no line! If you didn't grab food at the graduate or are looking for breakfast for tomorrow, check out Milk and Honey! Be prepared to wait, but it is worth it for a warm southern breakfast.

12 South
This is one of my favorite places to stop at in all of Tennessee. Such a cute photo spot and fun activity. And let me tell you, both of the bouquets that I have made here have lasted either a car ride or a flight back to New York-- and that says something to me. I also love walking around with flowers all day, but you can check out their Instagram to see their hours and location because it varies!

When it's time to stop for another treat, this bakery had yummy and cute donuts with so many unique flavors.

5. The shops!
There are so many cute pop up boutiques and jewlery stores along the way from 12 Daughter's Bakery to Amelia's Flower Truck. My friend and I split a deal at one boutique that sold rings-- I got one of my favorite rings that I wear almost every day!

In order to get the full Nashville experience, let's head back to the main city
I have actually not been inside the Ryman but it is a very important part of not only Nashville, but country music in general. I have been to The Grand Ole Opry, which is also a must do if you have some extra time.
This is also on my Nashville Bucket list but I have not had time to check it out yet!
Broadway
8. Tootsies
Tootsies is the perfect old school bar that usually has some sort of live music going on. What worked for my friend and I is we started out here since it is towards the beginning of the strip, then went to other bars along the way down. I would love to go back! There are also a lot of up and coming singers that perform there frequently, such as Gracie Carol (Check her out on Instagram!)

This place was by far my favorite bar on Broadway! (Sorry, Morgan).
The rooftop was so much fun to dance on and wasn't too crowded. The drinks were great and we met a lot of fun people. We went there every night we stayed!

10. Scoreboards
A little off the beaten path but had really good food and live music!! A family member showed us this place when we came to visit for the first time and we absolutely loved the atmosphere! It was very laid back and fun!

There are endless places I can recommend, and another thousand more places I have written in my notes of where I want to go! There are many other classic spots like The Bluebird Café, and other historical buildings too! Nashville is such a fun city that I hope everyone gets to experience at least once! Another fun thing to do is get a plain white cowboy hat, bring a sharpie, and have the people you meet sign it! It is a fun way to keep your trip memory alive!

Thank you for reading!
