How I Store My Makeup in College

My next few blog posts are going to be tips and tricks that I found to be the most useful at school!

Freshman year I definitely overdid it with the “college hacks” and gadgets that I never used! So in this blog series, I’m going to keep it short and sweet on the best products that helped me stay organized with a lot of things in my dorm.

Let’s get to how I organize my makeup at school!

Freshman year I kept all my makeup in my desk and I just felt like that took up so much unnecessary space and was not as organized as having it all in one spot.

What I found works best for me is keeping it all in one spot.

I have this basket from Target that I use to stand all of my concealers, lipsticks, liners, etc in. The simplicity of a bin like this makes it easy for taking it back and forth between home, school and getting ready fast.

I use a light up cosmetic mirror to do my makeup then just throw it all back in the basket. The exact mirror I use is linked here and here!

In terms of perfume, lotions and other random bottles, I have a small three tiered cart that I store everything on. I got mine for $10 at Ocean State Job Lot but I’m linking a comparable one on Amazon! Most dorms should have enough extra space for this (even if you have to store it under your bed).
